Environmental Process
Central to the ARC Transit Corridor Study is an environmental review that satisfies requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and related environmental processes. The environmental process incorporates public and agency participation and input at each major step- to ensure involvement in the development of the project purpose and need alternatives, impacts and proposed mitigation measures.
The project team will spend the next two years preparing preliminary engineering and environmental studies for the ARC project, during which time the public will be actively engaged for feedback.
